This smart new 2 bedroom apartment can sleep up to 6 people and is located in the heart of Orebic approximately 5 minutes walk to the beach, local shops, bars and restaurants. The apartment is modern, self contained and is well equipped with satellite TV, DVD player, CD player and a washing machine. The large balcony offers splendid views of the town, sea and mountains. It is on the top floor and is one of a small select building of six. There is also a brick built barbeque available to apartment residents and an allocated parking space. This lovely apartment is situated in Orebic, which is easily reached from Dubrovnik by car (2 hours) or by boat. You can also travel from Split. Orebic is nestled at the base of St Ilija's mountain and has plenty of shops/bars and restaurants (5-10 minutes walk) and a picturesque marina (10 minutes walk). It also has excellent water sports facilities including windsurfing, snorkelling, diving, sailing and fishing. It is a great place for walking/hiking with a tennis centre nearby.Just above the town, on the hillside, is a stunning monastery which can be reached by car or by foot and if you feel energetic and want a greater challenge, you can walk to the summit of St. Ilija.The shoreline is very picturesque with many coves and crystal clear water. It has some of the best places to swim and has a lovely sandy beach approximately 10 minutes walk from the apartment.You can take a regular car/foot passenger ferry that runs from the marina to the nearby island of Korcula, a 15 minute journey from where further ferries can be taken to many nearby islands on a day trip. Korcula town itself is a stunning walled town with lovely bars and restaurants which spill into the narrow cobbled streets. It is often likened to a mini Dubrovnik and has many lovely boutiques, art gallerys, churches and museums. If you prefer a drive out, then there are many pretty villages along the coast to visit.
