In a beautiful and peaceful countryside location, with glorious views close to the coast, on the outskirts of the small village of Dracevac, close to Porec. Villa Neela is ideally placed to explore the Istrian peninsula. The villa, part of a small exclusive development of 6 properties, will comfortably accommodate 6 people, with one double bedroom (with large continental bed) and two twin bedrooms (one containing bunk beds). There is a spacious lounge, and dining area and a fully fitted kitchen. All rooms have beautiful rural views and throughout there are high ceilings providing a cool and airy interior. Large patio doors give direct access and views from the lounge and dining areas to a south-facing covered terrace. The south-facing terrace, with table and chairs, directly overlooks the private pool (9m x 4), patio, landscaped gardens and has beautiful views of the adjoining countryside. Sun-loungers are provided around the pool and there is a large stone barbecue, ideal for those 'al fresco' evenings. Villa Neela has one bathroom and an additional WC. There is a washing machine. In the lounge there is satellite TV, DVD and CD players, family games and a sofa bed. The village of Dracevac with its small friendly shop is a 2 minute walk from the villa. Excellent restaurants are located nearby. A cot is available for our younger guests. POREC situated on a small peninsula jutting into the clear waters of Adriatic is rich in culture and within a 15 minute drive of Villa Neela. The 6th-century Basilica of Euphrasius houses some of the finest Byzantine art on the Adriatic. Many cultural events are organized throughout the year. Trips to Venice, Tito's Islands of Brijuni and City of Pula are all possible from POREC and can be organised through our local agent, if required. Sitting on the rocky and forested coastline and nestled in their own bays are the resorts of Zelena Laguna and Plava Laguna. Here you can play tennis, enjoy health spars, adventure activities, mini-golf, horseback riding, hire a bike or try out the many water sports including sailing (skippered yachts can be arranged), wind surfing, water skiing and diving. Alternatively, just sit and enjoy the spectacular views at one of the many restaurants. Well-marked bike paths which are directly accessible from Villa Neela make cycling an excellent way to experience the gentle rolling hills of this region. Pula Airport (Ryanair) is a 40 minute drive. Trieste Airport is approximately 1.75 hours drive (Ryanair). The airports of Ljublijana (EasyJet), Venice Treviso (Ryanair) and Marco Polo (EasyJet) are within 3 hours drive. Car is essential.
