These three apartments, for up to 6 persons, are situated in a beautiful valley between two bays, just 2m from Korcula Town on a bus route (see photo,house in foreground), and 200m from the sea. The setting is very pleasant, with plenty of terraceing for sunbathing and a large garden where you can enjoy a game of badminton or boules! You are surrounded by green,tree-clad hills with views to Peljesac Peninsula and Hvar. The water in the bays is crystal-clear...ideal for snorkelling and swimming. The Old Town of Korcula is also likened to Dubrovnik, but is considered more relaxed.A wonderful cobbled maze of alleyways, it is full of restaurants, art galleries and of course, Marco Polo's house. In season there are regular classical concerts, Klapa singers and the Moreska Sword Dance. The island is a matchless location for walking and cycling. The owners can provide detailed routes of various lengths, with stunning views on each, complete with GPS references. Quality diving is available at a nearby BSAC centre. Water visibility is superb, with temperatures up to 26 degrees C. Lots of pastimes are catered for on Korcula., from snorkelling and kayaking to fish picnics visiting the nearby islands of Mljet, Hvar and Lastovo. Ferries run to Split and Dubrovnik, and a bus servive runs to Dubrovnik. A frequent 15-minute ferry runs to Orebic on the mainland.
