The newly furnished and decorated first floor apartment has two double bedrooms and a large lounge/diner with a sofa bed. The apartment is situated at the westernmost point of the unspoilt village of Viganj so it enjoys uninterrupted views across the Peljesac Channel. The secluded balcony is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the breathtaking scenery. The sea is literally across the road from the apartment, the nearest large beach is just 10 minutes walk and there are a number of small pebble beaches a few minutes away. Viganj is a quiet village with a small harbour on the Peljesac Peninsula. It is a perfect place to relax and unwind with the crystal clear seas and sunny weather. Diving, windsurfing and a wide range of water sports are on your doorstep. Viganj is famous for its windsurfing and the National Championships are held here annually. It is also an ideal place for cycling and hiking with many remote paths through pine woods and rocky hillsides or there are quiet roads and tracks along the coast. The more adventurous could visit the mountain excursion area to the north east of Viganj. Bikes, boats and water sports equipment can be hired locally. Viganj also has a number of bars, restaurants and a supermarket. There are lots of places to visit within easy reach of the apartment. Orebic is a picturesque town only 7 km away. It has the best beaches in Southern Dalmatia and some delightful bars, cafes and restaurants. The island of Korcula is only 15 minutes away by foot ferry in Viganj or car ferry in Orebic. it is one of the most beautiful and interesting Adriatice islands. . The old town of Korcula has narrow streets, beautiful churches and magnificent palaces. According to legend Marco Polo was born here and his house is still standing It is one of the best preserved medieval towns in the Mediterranean. Korcula produces Croatia's most famous white wine, the Prosip The Neretva delta is a one the best preserved wetlands in Europe. It is around 90 minutes away from Viganj on the mainland. It is a completely untouched natural environment offering shelter for numerous birds, fishes and other species. The Peljesac peninsula is famous for its wines, among them "Dingac" and "Postup". These wines are very similar to American Zinfandel and they can be purchased directly from the producers. Sleeps:
