Apartment Kate is a beautifully furnished spacious one bed apartment situated on the fist floor of a brand new building with swimming pool and large sunbathing terrace on the beautiful island of Ciovo in the village of Slatine. A large balcony also offers you breath taking views of the surrounding area, across the sea to the mountains of the mainland. The sea is aqua blue and there is a pebbly beach just 50 m from the house. The apartment is situated in a quiet neighborhood, a few minutes walk to a secluded beach and 15-minute drive to the historic town of Trogir.The apartment in the house is very comfortable. The island of Ciovo is connected by a bridge to the town of Trogir which is a famous cultural and historical tourist destination being a Unesco World Heritage site. Come in the high season of July and August and you’ll find Ciovo vibrant with life with holidaymakers from all over Europe. During the day enjoy the local beaches, the sun and the coffee shops; taste local cuisine and meet the friendly people of the village. Alternatively rent a car and explore the natural beauty of the island or visit the town of Trogir, discover its history and the local culture. Or take a 30-minute drive to Split and wander through the 1700 year old alleyways of the Diocleceans Palace. For a quiet holiday come in April-June or September/October. Easy and regular access to the mainland makes this a great place to have not just a relaxing beach holiday with the whole island to explore by scooter, boat or car, but also provides a convenient base from which to visit the historic sites of Split and Trogir, see the beautiful Krka waterfalls, experience adventure rafting on Cetina river and visit other interesting places on the mainland.
