The Quaich is a beautiful complex comprising 3 cottages, Jedan, Dva and Tri. Together they can accommodate 10 people The complex situated at the foot of the mountains in the peaceful village of Vrbanj. The cottages surround a communal courtyard and private swimming pool. Our cottages, which are converted animal houses, are fitted to a very high standard yet also keeping there simple charm. Our aim is to provide simple luxury for our guests. The owners, Chris and Mick live on site and will endeavour to fulfil your every need. To enjoy The Quaich to it's full advantage we recommend car hire during your stay but several of the nearby towns and villages are within walking distance and cycling is very popular on the island. We are 5kms from the local ferry port of Stari Grad and 22 kms from Hvar town. There are many restaurants close by and a couple of bars and restaurants in Vrbanj itself. We offer a Romantic package also in our most luxurious cottage and the cost includes several 'extras'. We offer many on-site services including picnics, evening meals on request, library, DVDs, taxi service. Tri is our romantic retreat. Again, with double-bed accommodation on a mezzanine level under a pitched roof and boasting an old roll top bath. All our sheets and towels are Egyptian cotton to help keep you cool. Each of our beds has a mosquito net. Tri is directly next to Dva and across the courtyard from Jedan. Two additional guests can be accommodated on a fold-out sofa bed in the living area. The cottage is equipped with TV and DVD player and CD player with attachment for your ipod or MP3 player. There is a hairdryer in each bedroom. The ground floor consists of an open plan lounge with double sofa bed and fully equipped kitchen including 2 ring hot plate, microwave oven and fridge. Also on the ground floor is a shower and wc. The linen is changed weekly. All our kitchens are fully equipped and have the basic necessities like tea, coffee, sugar etc. Breakfast, out in the courtyard before the sun gets too high, is a wonderful experience. Price is based on 2 people sharing. Extra persons charged at additional 15 euros per person per night. Children under 10 no charge. Sleeps:
