Other nearby acitvities: Vis is one of the most charming and unspoilt islands of the Mediterranean region - if you hate the usual holiday resort commercialisation, but like a little bit of sophistication, this is the place for you. You can visit the spectacular "Blue Caves" on the island of Bisevo, a short and pleasant boat ride from Vis. You can sample the prized local wines. Vis is one of the few organic islands in the world...there are eco-tours, visits to vineyards in the season, fascinating country restaurants serving traditional foods, and of course lots of lovely cafes and restaurants by the sea. NB: The house can be arranged as two king-size double bedrooms, or one double bedroom can be arranged as a twin bedded room. There are also two large sofa beds downstairs, and two good quality blow-up beds if three children (say) wanted to share a room. Exterior:

Visitors Feedback: "We love this house and have been back several times with our 7-year-old daughter. The quality of everything inside is amazing - even goosedown pillows! And the views really are breathtaking. You can spend hours watching the yachts glide into the bay and then moor up in the harbour. The terrace also faces the sunset which is usually spectacular. The island is charming too. No commercialisation. It's the perfect relaxing holiday." Annie and Bernard Clarke, Hampshire. Click here to search for other locations in Croatia. bla |
