Vinisce is a peaceful village and small Marina built on the shores of a beautiful Bay, southwest of Trogir. It is an ideal destination for anyone wishing to have a "get away from it all" relaxing holiday. Paul and Carol (Ex Brits) have recently moved to Croatia and occupy the ground floor of this modernized Villa. They are on hand to ensure your holiday is memorable and can provide snacks, drinks, meals, taxi service (if required) and offer 3 accommodation options: On the 1st floor there is a fully equipped self-catering 2 double bedroom Apartment (Apartment 1), complete with balconies to lounge and both bedrooms, sleeping up to 6 people. The 2nd floor is a fully equipped Studio Apartment (Apartment 2), with panoramic views of the Bay from the large terrace (40sqm), sleeping up to 3 people. For larger parties, both Apartments can be linked via an internal spiral staircase, to accommodate up to 9 people. (See separate listings for Apartment 1 and 2) The property is a gentle 200m stroll from the crystal clear Adriatic waters, where you can laze on the beach, swim or snorkel in the calm turquoise sea. The coastal strip near Vinisce provides opportunities for underwater fishing and is distinguished by attractive inlets with pebbly beaches. Along the waterfront you have the choice of visiting any of the 4 restaurants, offering a variety of meals ranging from Pizza, Steaks, to local Dalmatian fish Specialities. You can relax with a cold beer/wine or coffee at the café bars, stock-up on freshly baked bread from one of the 3 village Supermarkets, or pop-in to send off your postcards and use the Bureau de-change at the local Post Office. Should you wish to explore, there are many other places to visit. Medena (15km) offers a full range of water sports. Trogir "UNESCO" World Heritage Town is a must (20km) with harbour, café bars, restaurants, shops and galleries within the old town walls. Split, Dalmatia's Capital, is one of the most vibrant Cities and Split Harbour and offers regular local ferries to the Islands of Brac, Hvar, Vis, Korcula and many more. Krka Park (45km) is Central Dalmatia's most visited natural attraction and well worth a visit. If you fancy "bopping the night away" Primosten (20km) has the largest disco on the Dalmatia coast. The advantage of renting the Villa is that Apartment 1 has the spacious kitchen, whereas Apartment 2 has the large top terrace with fantastic sea views c/w swing and sun loungers. Sleeps:

Visitors Feedback: Dear Paul and Carol, Vinisce Bay is a lovely setting in which to relax and unwind and a base to explore Dalmatia. The excellent accommodation at Little Vinisce apartments is self-catering. However, this is self-catering with a difference. The British owners Paul and Carol reside on the lower floor and for the duration of our holiday they did everything, particularly as we visited out of season, to make our holiday a truly memorable one, extremely helpful but never intrusive. Their advertised wish is that they hope visitors will leave as friends. I think we did, and we will certainly return in the future. We had the opportunity to stay in both the studio, and the two bedroom apartment and enjoyed them both. What an amazing view especially from the studio's huge balcony. They had everything we needed, including a nicely appointed kitchen and even a delicious bottle of wine waiting for us to start the holiday off right. Vinisce is such a charming town, perfect for relaxing and getting away from all the regular hectic routines that we get into. Paul and Carol are so warm and welcoming, we felt that we were staying with close friends...but also that we had our privacy...a very nice balance of being cared for, and also being independent. Needless to say we can't wait to return to "Little Vinisce" and stay with them again. Croatia is so beautiful and Vinisce is breathtaking. We could not have asked for anything better. Combine that with fabulous accommodation at Apartments Little Vinisce, and wonderful hosts who can't do enough for you, and you get the perfect holiday. Nic July 2007 Having decided to come to Croatia, originally Sarah and I were planning a fairly rough and ready trip that involved a lot of travelling around. However, once we found out Sarah was going to be four months pregnant, a more relaxing break became of greater importance. We scoured the internet for some accommodation in our ‘target’ area, came across Little Vinisce at fairly short notice, and booked it straight away praying it was as good as it looked. Happily and to our enormous relief, it was. Vinisce is a simply beautiful spot, and I would imagine will remain unspoiled for many years to come. We ate breakfast every day on the balcony, admiring the view of the bay and keeping track of yacht movements. It was hot that week, with temperatures around the 105 degree-mark in old money and we were very glad of the air conditioning in our apartment (and the car). And we also slipped into a pleasant ritual of an early-evening, sunset swim before usually heading out to one of the handful of village restaurants. Carol and Paul were extremely welcoming, friendly, and sociable hosts – we really enjoyed the BBQ night. And on the days when we wanted to go and do our own thing and explore a bit further afield, they were always a ready source of helpful advice and tips. Trogir – particularly an evening meal in one of the courtyard restaurants – Split, Primosten and the Krka National Park are ‘must-do’s’, and a hire car is pretty much an essential to get the most out of the stay. Both of us have very fond memories of Croatia and our time at Little Vinisce, and I’m sure we will return – although now the country has had the Michael Palin treatment, it may all be a bit more in demand! Thanks again Carol and Paul for helping make it a wonderful stay, and hopefully we’ll be back with our new arrival soon.
